Pakistani Senior Analytics Engineer (Client Company in Uruguay)

This was one of the most challenging applications we’ve handled so far. The main applicant works as a Senior Analytics Engineer for a major company based in Uruguay.

One of the key requirements for the Digital Nomad Visa is a company registration certificate proving that the company is active and in good standing. However, in Uruguay, such a document does not exist. The company initially provided a notarial certificate stating its incorporation details, but it did not confirm that the company is still active.

UGE eventually requested an additional document to verify the company’s active status. We were given only ten working days to provide it, but despite the tight deadline, we managed to make it happen.

We submitted an alternative document called the Certificado del Registro Nacional de Comercio, Sección Personas Jurídicas from the public registry. This document includes information such as the company’s formation date, details of the notary who incorporated it, amendments to the corporate bylaws, and the names and addresses of the directors.

In addition, we submitted the company’s tax records showing they are actively paying taxes up to the present, along with an explanation letter. Thankfully, the application was approved the day after submitting these documents. His spouse dependent also got approved on that day.
