Filipino Spouse Dependent of Video Editor Main Applicant

The applicant is the wife of our Filipino video editor client, and their applications were submitted simultaneously. Both initially applied through the Spanish Consulate in the Philippines, but only the main applicant was approved. After the main applicant arrived in Spain, I resubmitted their applications, and this time, both were approved.

However, we encountered another challenge during the process. The main applicant’s approval came first, and UGE requested additional documents from the dependent, including a Special Power of Attorney authorizing a representative, since she was still in the Philippines at the time of application. Despite the time constraint, we successfully had the document notarized and apostilled just before the 10-working-day deadline.

Her approval was issued the following day.
